And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, that they would walk after the LORD and keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in that book. And all the people confirmed the covenant.

And he took the book of the covenant and read in the audience of the people, and they said, All that the LORD has said we will do, and we will hear.

And the people replied unto Joshua, We will serve the LORD our God and hear his voice.

Then Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD's people; and likewise between the king and the people.

And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

And Jehoiada made a covenant between him and between all the people and between the king that they should be the LORD's people.

Strengthened with their brethren, their nobles, they came forward in an oath with a curse that they would walk in God's law, which was given by the hand of Moses, the slave of God, and observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
