Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for instruction, for reproof, for correction, for discipline in righteousness,

But these are written, so that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life in his name.
And that from a babe thou have known the sacred writings, which are able to make thee wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and light to my path.
Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and who keep the things written in it, for the time is near.
For as many things as were written previously were written for our learning, so that through perseverance and through the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.

Therefore, beloved, anticipating these things, be diligent to be found by him in peace, without spot and blameless. And consider the longsuffering of our Lord, salvation, just as also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him, as also in all his letters, speaking in them about these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist, as also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but examine the spirits, whether they are of God, because many FALSE prophets have gone out into the world.
