And there arises a great storm of wind, and the waves were beating into the boat, so that the boat was now being filled. And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they awake Him, and say to Him, "Teacher, is it no concern to Thee that we perish?" And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Now it came to pass, as the multitude was pressing upon Him, and hearing the word of God, that He was standing by the lake Gennesaret; and He saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen, having gone out of them, were washing their nets. And, entering into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to put out a little from the land; and, having taken a seat, He was teaching the multitudes out of the boat. read more.
And, when He ceased speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." And Simon, answering, said, "Master, having toiled through the whole night, we took nothing; but at Thy word I will let down the nets." And, doing this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes; and their nets were breaking. And they beckoned to their partners in the other boat, to come and help them. And they came, and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking. And Simon Peter, seeing it, fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying, "Depart from me; because I am a sinful man, O Lord;" for astonishment seized him, and all those with him, on account of the draught of the fishes which they took;

But, as they were sailing, He fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled full of water, and were in peril. And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm.
After these things Jesus manifested Himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and He manifested Himself in this manner. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathaniel of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples. Simon Peter says to them, "I am going away to fish." They say to him, We also are coming with you." They went forth, and entered into a boat; and in that night they caught nothing. read more.
But, morning now coming on, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus, therefore, saith to them, "Little children, have ye anything to eat?" They answered Him, "No." And He said to there, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and ye shall find." They cast it, therefore; and no longer were they able to draw it, for the multitude of the fishes. That disciple, therefore, whom Jesus loved, says to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Simon Peter, therefore, having heard that it was the Lord, girded his outer garment (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea. But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits distant), dragging the net full of fishes. When, therefore, they went out upon the land, they see a fire of coals there, and fish lying thereon, and bread. Jesus saith to them, "Bring of the fishes which ye just now caught." Simon Peter, therefore, went aboard, and drew the net to the land, full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three; and, though there were so many, the net was not rent.
