"Ye are the light of the world: a city, set upon a hill, cannot he hid. Nor do they light a lamp, and put it under the measure, but on the lamp-stand; and it gives light to all who are in the house. So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in Heaven.

For, I think, God did set forth us the apostles last, as doomed to death; because we became a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. Become ye, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and delivered Himself up for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet smell. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becomes saints; read more.

For this ye know, assuredly, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words; for, because of these things, comes the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. Do not, therefore, become partakers with them; for ye were once darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord; walk as children of light

But, concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written to you; for ye yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief at night. When they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in nowise escape. read more.
