But a certain Samaritan, as he was journeying, came where he was, and when he saw him, had compassion, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and setting him on his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. Which of these three, dost thou think, was neighbor to him that fell among the robbers?

and he fell down on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him; and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Were there none found returning to give glory to God but this foreigner?



And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him because of the words of the woman, who testified, He told me all things which I have done. When therefore the Samaritans came to him, they besought him to remain with them; and he remained there two days. And many more believed on account of his word; read more.
and said to the woman, No longer do we believe on account of what thou hast told us; for we have ourselves heard him, and know that this is in truth the Saviour of the world.

And the multitudes with one accord gave heed to the things spoken by Philip, when they heard and saw the signs which he wrought. For from many that had unclean spirits came they out crying with a loud voice; and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were cured. And there was great joy in that city.

he left Judaea, and went again to Galilee. And he must necessarily pass through Samaria.

And it came to pass, as he was going to Jerusalem, that he was traveling on the confines of Samaria and Galilee.

But before their arrival a certain man, named Simon, was in the city, a man practising sorcery, and amazing the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was some great person; to whom they gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the Power of God, which is called Great.
