Confession » Confessing your sins
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the LORD your God, and have scattered your favors to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty; Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall make restitution for his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he has trespassed.
For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the foreign wives.
And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a suitable man into the wilderness:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whosoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

And if a man strikes his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he dies under his hand; he shall be surely punished. read more.

If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his animal, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution. If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns, so that the stacks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field, be consumed; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
