Peter therefore, seeing him, says to Jesus, "Lord, and what will this man do?" Jesus saith to him, "If I wish him to remain till I come, what is it to you? follow Me."

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders, if we are this day examined in regard to a good deed done to an impotent man, by what means this person has been made whole; be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Nazarene, Whom ye crucified, Whom God raised from the dead, in Him does this man stand here before you well! read more.

Now, as Peter was much perplexed in himself as to what the vision which he saw might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate; and, calling, were inquiring whether Simon who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.
