Whoever privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

Take ye heed every one of his neighbor, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders.

For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.




He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.



And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell, and great was the fall of it. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that, without a foundation, built a house on the earth, against which the stream beat vehemently, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.

Because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools:









Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shown before the whole congregation.




A man that beareth false witness against his neighbor is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.



But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

But we know that the law is good, if a man useth it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers, and murderers of mothers, for man-slayers, For lewd persons, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men-stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,

A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips: and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
