And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

And Ehud escaped while they tarried; and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped to Seirath.

And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh-gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:

But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and my eye shall weep bitterly, and run down with tears, because the LORD'S flock is carried away captive.

He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; Will not God search out this? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Whoever privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

The secret things belong to the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us, and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world to our glory:

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

A tale-bearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

And the lords of the Philistines came to her, and said to her, Entice him, and see in what his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver. And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, in what thy great strength lieth, and with what thou mayest be bound to afflict thee. And Samson said to her, If they bind me with seven green withs, that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.read more.

And he said to her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were used, then shall I be weak, and be as another man. Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him with them, and said to him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson. (And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber.) And he broke them from off his arms like a thread. And Delilah said to Samson, hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me with what thou mayest be bound. And he said to her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web. And she fastened it with the pin, and said to him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web. And she said to him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thy heart is not with me? Thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me in what thy great strength lieth. And it came to pass when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed to death; That he told her all his heart, and said to her, There hath not come a razor upon my head; for I have been a Nazarite to God from my birth: if I be shaved, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced by all, he is judged by all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face, he will worship God, and report that God is in you in truth.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Debate thy cause with thy neighbor himself; and reveal not a secret to another:

That thy alms may be in secret; and thy Father who seeth in secret, himself will reward thee openly.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret, will reward thee openly.

Moreover, if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
