Riches and honor are with me, durable wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold, and my revenue than choice silver.


It cannot be gotten for gold, nor shall silver be weighed for the price of it.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold. Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.

Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.

For the gain of it is better than the gain of silver, and the profit of it than fine gold.

My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold, and my revenue than choice silver.

I will make a man more rare than fine gold, even a man than the pure gold of Ophir.


And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, It is my people, and they shall say, LORD i

And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver. And they shall offer to LORD offerings in righteousness.

As for this image, its head was of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of brass,

Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.

Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding put forth her voice? On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands. Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors, she cries aloud: read more.

I was brought forth while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world. When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle upon the face of the deep, when he made firm the skies above, when the fountains of the deep became strong, when he gave to the sea its bound that the waters should not transgress his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth, then I was by him, a master workman. And I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him, rejoicing in his habitable earth. And my delight was with the sons of men.
