For I say to you that, unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

The good man, out of his good treasure, puts forth good things; and the evil man, out of his evil treasure, puts forth evil things.

He that is of God hears the words of God; on this account, ye hear them not, because ye are not of God."

Jesus answered, and said to him, "If any one loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.

I speak after human fashion because of the weakness of your flesh; for, as ye presented your members subservient to uncleanness, and to iniquity unto iniquity; so now present your members subservient to righteousness unto holiness. For, when ye were slaves of sin, ye were free as to righteousness. What fruit, therefore, had ye then in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.read more.
But now, having been made free from sin, and having been made slaves to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life;

that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

for the Kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he that in these things serves Christ, is well-pleasing to God, and approved by men.

henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will recompense to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.

that the fellowship of your faith may become effectual, in the knowledge of every good thing in you, for Christ.

Does the fountain send forth, from the same opening, the sweet water and the bitter, My brethren, can a fig tree produce olives; or a vine, figs? Neither can salt water yield sweet. Who is wise and intelligent among you? Let him show, by his good conduct, his works in meekness of wisdom.read more.
But, if ye have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom is not the wisdom that comes down from above; but is earthly, soulish, demoniacal! For where there are jealousy and contention, there is confusion and every vile deed. He who says that he is abiding in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and knows not where he is going, because the darkness blinded his eyes.

As for you, let that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son and in the Father.

If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that does righteousness has been begotten of Him.

And every one that has this hope on Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

Every one that is abiding in Him sins not; whosoever sins has not seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

Whosoever has been begotten of God sins not; because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he has been begotten of God.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not abides in death.
