He who slanders his neighbor secretly, him I will destroy. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.



For there shall be a day of LORD of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low,

And the proud one shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up. And I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all who are round about him.

For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace, and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, shall be stubble. And the day that comes shall burn them up, says LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.




A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil thing. He who slanders his neighbor secretly, him I will destroy. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.
