The Law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver. JOD: Your hands have made me and formed me; give me understanding so that I may learn Your Commandments. They who fear You will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in Your Word. read more.
I know, O Jehovah, that Your judgments are right, and that You have afflicted me in faithfulness.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Let it not be said! But I did not know sin except through the law. For also I did not know lust except the law said, You shall not lust. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of lust. For apart from law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once. But when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. read more.
And the commandment, which was to life, was found to be death to me. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. So indeed the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good. Then has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, working death in me by that which is good; in order that sin might become exceedingly sinful by the commandment. For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do, I know not. For what I desire, that I do not do; but what I hate, that I do. If then I do that which I do not desire, I consent to the law that it is good.

Why then the Law? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come to those to whom it had been promised, being ordained through angels in the Mediator's hand. But the Mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the Law then against the promises of God? Let it not be said! For if a law had been given which could have given life, indeed righteousness would have been out of Law. read more.
But the Scripture shut up all under sin, so that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But before faith came, we were kept under Law, having been shut up to the faith about to be revealed. So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But faith coming, we are no longer under a trainer. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ. There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.

The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether, more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

TETH: You have dealt well with Your servant, O Jehovah, according to Your Word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge; for I have believed Your Commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray; but now I have kept Your Word. read more.
You are good, and do good; teach me Your Precepts. The proud have forged a lie against me; I will keep Your Commandments with all my heart. Receive my instruction and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I, wisdom, dwell with sense, and find out knowledge of discretions. read more.
The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; I hate pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the wicked mouth. Counsel and sound wisdom are mine; I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign and princes decree justice. Princes rule by me, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. I love those who love me; and those who seek me early shall find me. Riches and honor are with me; enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and what I give is better than choice silver.
