Christ Appearance » His personal appearance figuratively described
"I looked till the seats were prepared, and till the Ancient of Days sat him down. His clothing was white as snow, and the hairs of his head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as the burning fire.
Thou art the fairest among the children of men; full of grace are thy lips, because God hath blessed thee for ever.
His throat is sweet; yea, he is altogether lovely. Such one is my love, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, such one is my love.
Like as the multitude shall wonder upon him, because his face shall be so deformed and not as a man's face, and his beauty like no man:
He came up as a spray before him, and as a root out of a dry land. There was neither fashion or beauty on him. And when we looked on him, there was no godliness that we should lust after him.
and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothes were as white as the light.
His head and his hairs were white, as white wool, and as snow: and his eyes were as a flame of fire:
And he that sat was, to look upon, like unto a jasper stone, and a sardine stone: And there was a rainbow about the seat, in sight like unto an emerald.

So that henceforth there shall be no more waters to make a flood to destroy all flesh. The bow shall be in the clouds, and I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and all that liveth upon the earth, whatsoever flesh it be." Yea the shine and glister that lightened round about, was like a rainbow, which in a rainy day appeareth in the clouds. Even so was the similitude, wherein the glory of the LORD appeared. When I saw it, I fell upon my face, and hearkened unto the voice of him that spake.
