So when that which is corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and that which is mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying which is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

But we speak wisdom among the perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are destroying themselves: but we speak the wisdom of God, which had been hid in mystery, which God predestined before the worlds were, for our glory: which none of the rulers of this world have known: for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

To me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what the communication of that mystery means, which was hid from the beginning in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
wherein when ye read, ye may be able to perceive my knowledge in the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it hath been now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be co-heirs, and of the same body, and sharers with them of his promise in Christ by the Gospel: of which I am made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God, which was given unto me by the effectual working of his power. but that in the days of the blast of the seventh angel, when he shall sound, then shall the mystery of God be completed, as he spake by his own servants the prophets.
