"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. The point is this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give just as he has purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.


Now finish the work, so that your readiness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a man has, not according to what he does not have.
