Love is patient, love is kind. Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable and gentle, and to show true humility toward all men.
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good life let him show his deeds in the humility of wisdom.
And we urge you, brethren, admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love,

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rains. You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we call those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the supreme authority,
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is himself the Savior. As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject to their husbands in everything.
