Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing in which they dealt proudly he was above them.
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the ruthless.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Abased
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Brought low
For the day of the LORD of hosts shall come upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
For you will save the humble people; but will bring down haughty looks.

This shall they have because of their pride, because they have reproached and boasted themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts. The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the coasts of the nations.

Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I ruin the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Brought into contempt
The LORD of hosts has purposed it, to defile the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Recompensed
O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD preserves the faithful, and plentifully repays the proud doer.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Scattered
He has showed strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Pride » They who are guilty of, shall be » Resisted
But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
