Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure with trouble. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fatted ox with hatred.
Better is the poor that walks in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
Better is the poor who walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Better it is to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
