Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat among all the animals that are on the earth. Whatever divides the hoof and is clovenfooted and chews the cud, among the animals, that shall you eat.

And every reptile that creeps upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
