But if God dresses the grass of the field in this way, [although it] is [here] today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not [do so] much more [for] you, you of little faith?
And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, [you] of little faith?" Then he got up [and] rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm.
And immediately Jesus extended his hand [and] caught him and said to him, "[You] of little faith! Why did you doubt?"
But knowing [this], Jesus said, "Why are you discussing among yourselves that you did not take bread, [you] of little faith?

To the weak I became weak, in order that I may gain the weak. I have become all [things] to all [people], in order that by all means I may save some.
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, console the discouraged, help the sick, be patient toward all [people].
I have shown you [with respect to] all [things] that [by] working hard in this way it is necessary to help those who are in need, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
But we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
For I was hungry and you gave me [something] to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me [something] to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me as a guest, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you cared for me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
Now receive the one who is weak in faith, [but] not for quarrels about opinions.
For the one who is weak--the brother for whom Christ died--is destroyed by your knowledge.

Therefore come [and] be healed on them, and not on the day of the Sabbath!" But the Lord answered and said to him, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or [his] donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead [it] away to water [it]? And this woman, who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound {eighteen} long years--is it not necessary that she be released from this bond on the day of the Sabbath?"

And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "Simon, I have something to say to you." And he said, "Teacher, say [it]." "There were two debtors [who owed] a certain creditor. One owed five hundred denarii and the other fifty. [When] they were not able to repay [him], he forgave [the debts] of both. Now which of them will love him more?" Simon answered [and] said, "I suppose that [it is the one] to whom he forgave more." And he said to him, "You have judged correctly." And turning toward the woman, he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your house. You did not give me water for [my] feet, but she wet my feet with [her] tears and wiped [them] with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but from the time I entered, she has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not anoint my head with olive oil, but she anointed my feet with perfumed oil. {For this reason} I tell you, her sins--[which were] many--have been forgiven, for she loved much. But [the one] to whom little is forgiven loves little." And he said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."

And standing her in [their] midst, they said to him, testing [him], "Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery! Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. And when they persisted in asking him, straightening up he said to them, "The [one] of you without sin, let him throw the first stone at her!" And bending down again, he wrote on the ground. Now [when they] heard [it], being convicted by their conscience, they began to depart, one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone--and the woman who was in [their] midst. So Jesus, straightening up and seeing no one except the woman, said to her, "Where are those accusers of yours? Does no one condemn you?" And she said, "No one, Lord." So Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more."]]
