Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of mirth is sadness.

And his sons went and made a feast in the house of each one on his day; and they sent and invited their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.

He that loveth mirth shall be a poor man; he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

Now all the Athenians and the strangers sojourning there spent their time in nothing else than to tell and to hear the news.
