Separate yourselves from all appearance of evil.

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becomes saints,

It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor do any thing by which thy brother stumbles or is offended or is sick.

and that ye procure to be quiet and to do your business and to work with your hands, as we commanded you, that ye may walk honestly toward those that are without, and that ye may desire nothing from any one.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

And such were some of you, but now ye are washed, but now ye are sanctified, but now ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

And be not drunk with wine, in which there is excess, but be filled with the Spirit,

Howbeit there is not in everyone that knowledge, for some with conscience of the idol unto now, eat it as a thing offered unto an idol, and their conscience being weak is defiled. But food does not make us more acceptable unto God; for neither if we eat are we the better, neither if we eat not are we the worse.
