Therefore, every one which hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a discerning man which built his house upon the rock. He is like to a man building a house, who digged, and deepened, and set the foundation upon the rock: and there having been an overflow, the river dashed against that house, and was not able to move it: for it was founded upon the rock.
