He replied, "The man who healed me told me to take up my bed and walk." "Who is it," they asked, "that said to you, 'take up your bed and go walking away'?"
Peter said to him. "Aeneas, Jesus Christ cures you! Rise and make your own bed!"
So she went home, and found the child lying in her bed and the demon departed.
"I tell you that in one night there shall be two men in one bed; one shall be taken and the other left.
Now he himself was sleeping on the cushion in the stern, so they woke him up, saying, "Master, do you not care if we perish?"
Behold, I will lay her on a sick bed, and bring great distress upon those who have committed adultery with her, unless they turn away from her works.
When they could not get him near to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof under which he stood, and after making an opening, they let down the cot on which the paralytic was lying.
So they went up on the roof, and let him down through the tiling, with his bed, into the crowd, before Jesus.
