But if any widow hath children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children is their fathers.

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them; and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou shouldst forget the things which thy eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them to thy sons, and thy sons' sons:

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

And thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
