And saying, We have piped to you, and ye have not danced; We have mourned to you, and ye have not lamented.

And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive:

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father.

Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say to me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing-father beareth the sucking child, to the land which thou sworest to their fathers?

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need of one to teach you again which are the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food.

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God, as a little child, he shall not enter it.

But Jesus called them to him, and said, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it.
