Three days after, there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee; where the mother of Jesus was present. as likewise Jesus and his disciples, who were all invited to the feast.
they both set out together: but the other disciple out-ran Peter, and came first to the cave,
One day as Peter and John were going together to the temple, at the ninth hour, which was the hour of prayer,
as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy spirit said to them, separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have destin'd them. accordingly, after having fasted and prayed they gave them imposition of hands, and dismiss'd them.
this proposition pleased the whole assembly: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the holy spirit, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch. these they presented to the apostles: who after prayer gave them imposition of hands.
Ananias therefore departed, and being arrived at the house, he put his hands on Saul, and said, brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus that appeared to you on your journey hither, hath sent me, that you might obtain your sight, and be filled with the holy spirit.

At length the time appointed by the law of Moses for the purification of women being accomplish'd, they carried the infant to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, according as his law directs, "every first born male-child shall be consecrated to the Lord."read more.
and to offer the sacrifice prescrib'd by the law, which was a pair of turtle-doves, or two young pidgeons.
go and instruct all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost:
Peter replied, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy spirit.
