After this, Jesus and his disciples came into Judean territory, and there he spent time with them and was baptizing.

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel -- and not with clever speech, so that the cross of Christ would not become useless.
Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them?
