And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this is the judgment,

But why do you judge your brother? why do you set at nought your brother? for we must all stand at the tribunal of God. For it is written, [As] I live, says the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess to God. Each of us therefore shall give account of himself to God.

For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, that each one may receive through the body for what he has done, whether it is good or evil.

who shall give an account to him that is ready to judge the living and dead.

There is now a judgment of this world; the ruler of this world shall now be cast out;

So shall it be at the consummation of the world. The angels shall come forth and separate the evil from the midst of the good,

the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the consummation of the world; and the reapers are angels. As, therefore, poisonous darnel is collected and burned with fire, so shall it be at the consummation of the world. The Son of man will send his angels, and they shall collect out of his kingdom all offenses, and all that commit wickedness,read more.
and cast them into a furnace of fire; and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that has ears, let him hear.

since it is just with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you, and to you who are afflicted rest with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels

But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory, and all the nations shall be assembled before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and he shall place the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.

Judge nothing therefore before the time, till the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden deeds of darkness, and make known the purposes of the hearts; and then shall each one have praise from God.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens shall pass away with a crash, and the elements be melted with heat, and the earth and the works in it be consumed.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat on it is called faithful and true, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

and to the church of the first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to a judge the God of all, and to spirits of the righteous made perfect,

because he has appointed a day in which he is about to judge the world in righteousness, by the man whom he has appointed, giving assurance to all by raising him from the dead.

For the Father judges no man, but has given all judgment to the Son,

and he commanded us to preach to the people and testify fully that he is appointed by God the judge of living and dead.

And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.

But the present heavens and the earth have been preserved by his word, being kept for fire, at the day of the judgment and destruction of wicked men.

Then shall he say to those on his left hand, Depart from me accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

But according to your hardness and unchanged heart you treasure up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and of a revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

For if we sin willingly after having received the knowledge of the truth, there is no longer a sacrifice left for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which is about to consume the adversaries. Any one who despised the law of Moses died without mercy by two or three witnesses;

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but plunging them into Tartarus delivered them up in chains to be kept in darkness till the judgment,

and the nations were angry, and thy wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged and to give the reward to thy servants the prophets and to the saints and those that fear thy name, small and great, and to destroy those that destroy the earth.

AND I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it, from whose presence the earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, stand before the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is of life. And the dead were judged from the things written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged each according to their works.read more.
And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And whoever was not found enrolled in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

But I tell you, that for every idle word which men speak they shall render an account in a day of judgment; for by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.

But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in a day of judgment than for you.read more.

for when the nations which have not the law perform by nature [the commandments] of the law, these who have not the law are a law to themselves, and they show the work of the law written in their minds, their consciences testifying with them, and their judgments mutually acusing or defending one another;??16 in the day when God shall judge the secret [doings] of men according to my gospel through Jesus Christ.

O FOOLISH Galatians, who has fascinated you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been set forth among you crucified?

He that believes in him is not judged; but he that believes not has been judged already; because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And if any one does not receive you, nor hear your words, when you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet. I tell you truly, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in a day of judgment, than for that city.

Even the dust of your city which adheres to our feet we wipe off for you; but know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand. I tell you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom in that day than for that city.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty, and give you drink?read more.
when did we see you a stranger, and take you in? or naked, and clothe you? when did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? And the king shall answer and say to them, I tell you truly, that inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of man also be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.

He that hears you, hears me; and he that rejects you, rejects me; and he that rejects me, rejects him that sent me.

And there is salvation in no other; for there is no other name given under heaven among men, by which we can be saved.

and bringing them out said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, and your house.

By no means; but let God be true, and every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mayest be justified in thy sayings and overcome when thou art judged. But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak as a man;??6 by no means;??ince [if he was] how shall God judge the world?

But we know that whatever the law says, it says to those having the law, that every mouth may be stopped and all the world become guilty before God.

I tell you most truly, he that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life, and comes not into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

much more then being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved through him from wrath.

but being judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

By this is love perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that as he is we also are in this world.

And if any man builds on this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, reeds, each one's work shall be manifest; for the day shall show it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the same fire shall try every man's work what it is. I earnestly charge you before God and Christ Jesus who is about to judge the living and dead, and [by] his appearing and his kingdom,

not forsaking our own congregation as some are in the habit of [doing], but exhorting [others], and so much the more as you see the day approaching.

Wait patiently therefore, brothers, till the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is of long patience, till he receives the autumnal and vernal rain. Do you also have long patience, confirm your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Complain not, brothers, against one another, that you be not judged; behold, the judge stands before the doors.

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, Master, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the earth? And a white robe was given them, and it was told them to rest yet a little while, till their fellow servants and their brothers and those about to be killed as they also had been should finish [their testimony].

All these things therefore being dissolved, what persons ought we to be in holy conduct and piety, expecting and hastening the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being burnt up will be dissolved and the elements be melted with heat. But we, according to his promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.
