Matthew 27:17-26

Mark 15:9-15

And Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you wish me to release to you the King of the Jews?" (For he was coming to understand that because of envy the high priests had delivered Him up). But the high priests stirred up the multitude, that he should rather release to them Barabbas. read more.

John 19:13-16

Pilate, therefore, having heard these words, led Jesus without, and sat down on the judgment-seat at a place called the "Pavement," but, in Hebrew, "Gabbatha." And it was the Preparation of the passover: it was about the sixth hour. And he says to the Jews, "Behold, your King!" They, therefore, cried out, "Away with Him! away with Him! Crucify Him!"
