For the past time is sufficient to have wrought the will of the heathens, walking in impurities, in lusts, in wine-drinkings, in revelries, in intemperance, and in unlawful idolatries:
Because whom he did foreknow, he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the lust of the flesh.
Be ye imitators of me, as I also am of Christ.
Therefore be ye imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk about in divine love, as Christ also loved you, and gave himself for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet savor.
Think the same thing among yourselves, which is also in Christ Jesus:
Whether do you not know, that so many of us as were baptized unto Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death: in order that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so must we also walk in newness of life. For if we have grown together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection:read more.
