Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the spirits, whether they be of God: for many false prophets are gone out into the world.

But there were indeed false prophets among the people of old, as there will be also among you false teachers, who will privately introduce pernicious heresies, denying even the Lord that bought them, and bringing upon themselves swift destruction,

And no wonder: for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. It is therefore no great thing, if his ministers also be transformed into ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transformed into apostles of Christ.
