Has Christ been parcelled out? Was it Paul who was crucified for you? Was it in Paul's name that you were baptized? I am thankful now that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one can say you were baptized in my name. (Well, I did baptize the household of Stephanas, but no one else, as far as I remember.) Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel. And to preach it with no fine rhetoric, lest the cross of Christ should lose its power!

He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

So in irritation they parted company, Barnabas taking Mark with him and sailing for Cyprus, while Paul selected Silas and went off, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord. He made his way through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

Acts 24:5

The fact is, we have found this man is a perfect pest; he stirs up sedition among the Jews all over the world and he is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect.
