And He said to me, Solomon your son shall build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.

Take heed now, for Jehovah has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.

And Samuel said to Jesse, Are all the young men here? And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he keeps the sheep. He also chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds; from following the ewes great with young He brought him to feed Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance.

I have cut a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant, Your seed will I establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged until He has set judgment in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His Law. So says Jehovah God, He who created the heavens and stretched them out, spreading out the earth and its offspring; He who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it.
