And ye fathers, do not exasperate your children: but educate them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

as ye know likewise, how we exhorted and comforted every one of you, as a father his children;

But God recommendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

For I have no one of a like spirit, who will with a kind of natural affection take care of your affairs.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. So Joseph, when he awoke from his sleep, did as the angel of the Lord directed him, and took home his wife: and he knew her not, till she brought forth her Son the first-born, and he called his name Jesus.
