Now in these days, when the disciples were being multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecian Jews against the Hebrews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily ministration.

that ye may be sons of your Father Who is in Heaven; because He causeth His sun to rise on evil men and on good, and sendeth rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.

And Peter, opening his mouth, said, "Of a truth, I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons; but, in every nation, he who fears Him, and works righteousness, is acceptable to Him.

but glory and honor and peace to every one who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek:

knowing that whatsoever good thing each one does, this shall he receive from the Lord, whether bond or free. And, masters, do the same thing to them, forbearing the threat; knowing that both their Master and yours is in Heaven, and there is no respect of persons with Him.
