And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed.

A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall dwell in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart;

Who shall go up into the hill of Jehovah? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I have hated the work of those who turn aside; it shall not hold on to me. A perverse heart will depart from me; I will not know the wicked.

Blessed are those who keep judgment, he who does righteousness at all times.

To the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious and full of pity and righteousness.

He shall not be afraid of bad news; his heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah. His heart is sure; he shall not be afraid though he sees his oppressors.

He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.

judgment shall keep you, understanding shall keep you,

in order that you may walk in the way of good and keep the paths of the righteous.

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivers from death.

The righteousness of the perfect shall make his way right, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but deceivers shall be taken in lust.

The wicked makes a deceitful wage; but one sowing righteousness has a sure reward. So righteousness tends to life; but one pursuing evil, it is to his own death.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he who takes souls is wise.

In the way of righteousness is life, and in that pathway there is no death.

Righteousness guards the perfect of way, but wickedness subverts a sin-offering.

Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the service of righteousness shall be quietness and hope forever.

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly; he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands free from holding bribes, who stops his ear from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high; his refuge shall be the strongholds of rocks; bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break out before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn, the fir tree shall come up; and instead of the brier, the myrtle tree shall come up; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign which shall not be cut off.

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed ones go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, and that you should bring home the wandering poor? When will you see the naked and cover him; and you will not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break out as the dawn, and your health shall spring out quickly; and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Jehovah shall gather you.read more.
Then you shall call, and Jehovah shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am. If you take the yoke away from among you, the pointing of the finger, and speaking vanity; and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. And Jehovah shall always guide you and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones fat; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. If you turn your foot because of the Sabbath, from doing what you please on My holy days, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Jehovah, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in Jehovah; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed yourself with the inheritance of Jacob your father. For the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may be offerers of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah.

But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

For I say to you that unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings out good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings out evil things.

He who is of God hears God's Words. Therefore you do not hear them because you are not of God.

Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

I speak in the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you have yielded your members as slaves to uncleanness, and to lawless act unto lawless act, even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness. For when you were the slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness. What fruit did you have then in those things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.read more.
But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.

so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these things is well-pleasing to God, and approved by men.

So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap. For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.

For this is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no offense in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because darkness has blinded his eyes.

Therefore what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will abide in both the Son and in the Father.

If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness has been born of Him.

And everyone who has this hope on him purifies himself, even as that One is pure.

Everyone who abides in Him does not sin. Everyone who sins has not seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as that One is righteous.

Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
