For we brought nothing into the world, and it is certain that we can carry nothing out:
Charge them, that are rich in this world, not to be high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly affords us all things for enjoyment: charge them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; treasuring up to themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may obtain eternal life.
For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give as a ransom for his soul?
For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be destroyed?
