Then He went all over Galilee, as He continued teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing any disease or malady among the people.
Now after John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God:
Then He said to them, "You must go all over the world and preach the good news to all the creation.
But the angel said to them: "Stop being afraid, for now I bring you good tidings of great joy which is to be for all the people; for today, in the town of David, a Saviour for you has been born, who is to be your Messiah and Lord.
They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to it. Consecrate them by your truth; your message is truth. Just as you have sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world, too.
So Jesus said to them, "When you lift the Son of Man (on the cross), you will know that I am the Christ, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but that I say exactly what my Father has instructed me to say.
This is because I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who has sent me has given me orders Himself what to say and what to tell. And I know that His orders mean eternal life. So whatever I speak I am speaking as the Father has told me."
Do you not believe that I am in union with the Father and that the Father is in union with me? I am not saying these things on my own authority, but the Father who always remains in union with me is doing these things Himself.
The Spirit is what gives life; the flesh does not help at all. The truths that I have told you are spirit and life.
I most solemnly say to you, we know what we are talking about and we have seen what we are testifying to, yet you are all rejecting our testimony. If you do not believe the earthly things I tell you, how can you believe the heavenly things, if I tell you about them?
