This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

But strong food belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer to thee, and will look up.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily, I say to you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret, will reward thee openly.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

And at the same time they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle, but tattlers also, and busy-bodies, speaking things which they ought not.

Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
