Ananias set out and went to the house, and there he laid his hands upon Saul, and said to him, "Saul, my brother, I have been sent by the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your journey, so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the holy Spirit." In the streets of Lystra a man used to sit who had not the use of his feet. He had been lame from his birth, and had never been able to walk. He was listening to Paul as he talked, when Paul looked at him and, seeing that he had faith that he would be cured, said to him loudly, "Stand on your feet!" And he sprang up and began to walk.
Publius' father happened to be sick in bed with fever and dysentery, and Paul went to see him and after praying laid his hands on him and cured him. After that, the other sick people on the island came and were cured.
