Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
“Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry
And bring the homeless poor into the house;
When you see the naked, to cover him;
And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,
He answered, “You shall not kill them. Would you kill those you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow?
