12 Bible Verses about Kingdoms

the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth bring all their glory and magnificence into it. the gates of it shall never be shut by day: for no night shall be there. the glory and magnificence of the nations shall be brought into it.

The seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, crying, "the kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."

these things I have appriz'd you of, that ye might repose your confidence in me. the world shall give you trouble: but take courage, I have overcome the world.

for he that is a true christian, overcomes the world: by obtaining faith, we have gain'd a victory over the world.

Again, the devil accompanyed him up a very high mountain, and representing to him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them: all these things, said he, will I give you, if you will prostrate your self and worship me. Then said Jesus to him, get thee hence Satan: for it it written, "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve ."

then the devil took him to the top of a high mountain, and in an instant represented to him all the kingdoms of the world. all this power, said he, will I give thee, and the glory of them: for they are at my disposal, and where I please, I bestow them. if therefore you will worship me, they shall be all your own.read more.

When you were in that destructive state of transgression and sin, in which you formerly liv'd, influenc'd by the customs of this world, and by the prince of the aerial powers, the spirits that now actuate the incredulous:

if satan expels satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom last?

so if satan be divided against himself, how can his kingdom subsist?
