Then she said, "Here is my maid, Bilhah: go in unto her, that she may bear upon my lap, that I may be increased by her."

And Joseph took them away from his lap, and they fell on the ground before him.

And Joseph saw Ephraim's children, even unto the third generation. And unto Machir the son of Manasseh were children born, and sat on Joseph's knees.

Why set they me upon their knees? Why gave they me suck with their breasts?

My knees are weak through fasting; my flesh is dried up for want of fatness.

And behold a hand touched me, which set me up upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands,
