and Jehovah God causeth to sprout from the ground every tree desirable for appearance, and good for food, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
for God doth know that in the day of your eating of it -- your eyes have been opened, and ye have been as God, knowing good and evil.' unintelligent, faithless, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; who the righteous judgment of God having known -- that those practising such things are worthy of death -- not only do them, but also have delight with those practising them.
And He saith to man: -- 'Lo, fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to turn from evil is understanding.'
The beginning of wisdom is fear of Jehovah, Good understanding have all doing them, His praise is standing for ever!
What, then, shall we say? the law is sin? let it not be! but the sin I did not know except through law, for also the covetousness I had not known if the law had not said:
For, when nations that have not a law, by nature may do the things of the law, these not having a law -- to themselves are a law; who do shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also witnessing with them, and between one another the thoughts accusing or else defending,
