And they of the circumcision who were believers, as many as came with Peter, were amazed, because even on the Gentiles the gift of the holy Ghost was poured out. And taking the hand of the damsel, he saith unto her, Talitha cumi! which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise!

and looking up to heaven, he heaved a deep sigh, and saith unto him, Ephphatha! that is, Be opened.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; remove this cup from me, nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

For ye have not received a spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye have received a Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema, Maranatha.

But because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father!

And they had over them a king, the angel of the abyss [of hell], whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Appollyon.

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew, Armageddon.

This title then many of the Jews read: for the spot where Jesus was crucified was nigh unto the city: and it was written in Hebrew, in Greek, and in Latin.

And when he was just ready to be carried into the fortress, Paul said to the military tribune, May I be permitted to speak a word to thee? And he said, Dost thou know Greek? Art not thou certainly that Egyptian who some time since raised a sedition, and led out into the desert four thousand cutthroats?
