because, by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the law is the knowledge of sin.

We who are by nature Jews, and not sinners from among the gentiles, yet knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of law; because by works of law no flesh shall be justified.

So that the law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

For we reckon that a man is justified by faith, apart from works of law.

Now that by law no one is justified with God, is evident; because "The righteous one shall live by faith."

What, then, shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, has found according to the flesh? For, if Abraham was justified by works, he has ground of boasting, but not toward God. For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness."read more.
Now to him that works the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt; but to him that works not, but believes on Him Who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

For as many as are of works of law are under a curse; for it has been written, "Cursed is every one who continues not in all the things written in the book of the law, to do them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; because it has been written, "Cursed is every one who is hung upon a tree"; that to the gentiles the blessing of Abraham might come in Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

For I through law died to law, that I might live to God.

Owe no one anything, but to love one another; for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. For this, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not kill," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet;" and, if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." If, however, ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," ye do well; but, if ye show respect to persons, ye commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. For He Who said, "Do not commit adultery," said also, "Do not kill." Now, if you do not commit adultery, but kill, you have become a transgressor of the law.

For, what was impossible under law, wherein it was weak through the flesh. God, sending His Own Son in likeness of sinful flesh, and, respecting sin, condemned sin in the flesh; that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
