And there comes to Him a leper, beseeching Him, and kneeling down to Him, and saying to Him, "If Thou wilt, Thou canst cleanse me!" And Jesus, moved with compassion, and stretching forth His hand, touched him, and saith to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
And, as He was entering into a certain village, there met Him ten leprous men, who stood afar off; and they lifted up their voice, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" And, when He saw them, He said to them, "Going your way, show yourselves to the priests." And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed.read more.
And one of them, seeing that he was cleansed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice,
"And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and no one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian."
