But whoever should drink of the water which I shall give him, shall never thirst; but the water which I shall give him shall be in him a spring of water springing up to eternal life.

A woman of Samaria comes to draw water: Jesus says to her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone into the city that they might buy food.) And he showed me the pure river of the water of life, shining as crystal, going out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of her broad way and of the river, hence and thence, the tree of life, making twelve fruits, in a month each one returning its fruit: and the leaves of the tree for the cure of the nations.

And he measured her wall, an hundred forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is the angel.
